Licensing, advertising and partnerships
For organisations
Training institutes, welfare organisations and relevant businesses can work with Crew Rights Compass in a few clear ways.
Education licences
If you train or support seafarers and would like to use the guides with a group, we can discuss a licence covering a specific number of readers, a term, copying permissions, the edition supplied and how updates are handled. Pricing is agreed case by case.
Advertising and partnerships
We welcome conversations about relevant placements and educational collaborations that are useful to crew and their families. To protect readers, any arrangement follows these principles:
- Paid placements are clearly labelled Sponsored and kept separate from rights and welfare content.
- Advertisers cannot influence editorial content, directory order or how any employer is described.
- A sponsored directory entry must pass the same official-source checks as every other entry.
- No placement fees are charged to candidates, and we do not sell reader data.
- Help, injury and legal-preparation pages carry no advertising.
Discussing advertising does not establish an endorsement or guarantee a placement.
Corrections from organisations
If you represent an organisation listed in the careers directory and your official careers address has changed, email ezekiel@theshipdoctor.com with the new official page. We check it independently before updating the entry.
